OK, I can’t listen to this stuff anymore…So, here are the truths:
1) Jesus Christ is the true son of God, period…(If you think differently, you’re not a christian…it’s that simple)… The New Testament of the Bible is a bit slanted to be sure bc in the 1st to 3rd centuries there were a lot of biggoted people who wrote or interpreted the stories of Mathew, Mrk, Luke, John and the Book of Revelations… (And, to leave out the books of the Gnostics is just plain stupid)
However, the Dead Sea Scrolls do verify much of that which is included in the Bible, so….
2) Christmas is nothing more than a day in time picked by the church to celibrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ…(It could have been July or any other month but the Catholics were already corrupt by then and had their reasons…
3) Christmas today is too much commerical and is a very sad time for the lower middle class and the poor bc of the lack of money to buy presents….
4) The most important thing in a Christian’s life is their faith…for, without it, being a Christian doesn’t mean squat, period…(It’s like being a little pregnant)
Faith is the magic of Christian life…And so is prayer….My second son is alive today bc of my faith and prayer when he was just weeks old and had been given up for survival… But I believe it was my & his mother’s faith that saved him….And the doctors at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY, agreed!)
Christ was not born in DEC so how is can HE be the reason for the season?shouldnt we celebrate in the fall?what a delusional the church has fallen under,and for what just to "fit"in?He should be our reason EVERYDAY! for the past few yrs I have felt this way,I hate this time of yr and I LOVE CHRIST,but all the hub-bub and bullshit charites going on this time of yr annoys the heck out of me. Who cares when we celibrate the birth of Christ… it really doesn’t matter when bc the commerical world would be there too, regardless of the time of the year… Close your ears to the rest of the BS… it’s that simple… Take your family to church on Christmas Eve and start Christmas off correctly….Then you’ll understand that Jesus is the reason for the season, regardless when it occurs…
How "Yeshua" Became "Jesus"
The first letter in the name Yeshua ("Jesus") is the yod. Yod represents the "Y" sound in Hebrew. Many names in the Bible that begin with yod are mispronounced by English speakers because the yod in these names was transliterated in English Bibles with the letter "J" rather than "Y". This came about because in early English the letter "J" was pronounced the way we pronounce "Y" today. All proper names in the Old Testament were transliterated into English according to their Hebrew pronunciation, but when English pronunciation shifted to what we know today, these transliterations were not altered. Thus, such Hebrew place names as ye-ru-sha-LA-yim, ye-ri-HO, and yar-DEN have become known to us as Jerusalem, Jericho, and Jordan; and Hebrew personal names such as yo-NA, yi-SHAI, and ye-SHU-a have become known to us as Jonah, Jesse, and Jesus.
He has a problem with the name, but not a blond blue eyed Yeshua when scripture says long hair is a curse for men? 1 Corinthians 11:14 – Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Who gives a shit, anyway about names…Christ is the son of God, period… He had a single purpose for coming here…To die to absolve us for all our sins and to be the way to everlasting life… He is the WAY…there is no other way…I don’t care what you call him as long as you acknowledge him as the son of God…

You atheist cracker’s don’t celebrate Martin Luther King Jr’s. birthday on his real birth date either, and we both know it’s because both Jesus, and Martin Luther king Jr. are "Black"!

‘Tis the season to understand what "Christmas" is really all about. Is Jesus Christ truly the "reason for the season?" As it turns out, no and yes.
When was the first Christmas? Was it around 0 AD/CE or 4 BCE, marking the supposed birth of Christ? Or does this celebration predate Christianity by thousands of years?
Christmas is the Christian version of a very ancient festival celebrating light and the sun’s "birth," as the hours of daylight increase following the winter solstice.
The winter solstice is the time of year when the night is the longest, after which the days start to lengthen again. The word "solstice" comes from the Latin solstitium and means "sun stands still."

Is Jesus the Reason for the Season?
The ancients perceived the sun as battling for its life for six months, until it reached the solstice, at which point the newborn, reborn or resurrected solar deity was seen as "victorious" over the engulfing darkness.
Because the sun was viewed as the source of light, heat and life, its return was celebrated with great joy and happiness in many places globally. Here is precisely where "Christmas" comes from, except that the Christian celebration is not about the Roman sun god Sol Invictus, the Persian god of light Mithra, the Egyptian solar deity Horus, or the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu. Instead, the winter solstice celebration has been changed into the birth of the Judeo-Christian "sun of righteousness," Jesus Christ. (Malachi 4:2)
Bottom line, as Sparky said, we do not know the exact date, Constantine set the date then to blend the masses after the conversion, but we do celebrate Christ’s birth and no matter how you spin it, commercialize, provide historical references against it, He dies for our sins once and for all and that deserves recognition over anything else. Christmas should be every day. All those who subscribe to Zeitgeist are greatly fooled.
The "Menorah" has "Seven Eye’s" of the "Lord’, not "Nine"! Hows that for paganism? Then a JEWISH child has to be given a gold rapped chocolate coin to remember to light them everyday! That’s paganism!

Someone posted the way Jesus came from Yeshua, if that were the case it would be Joshua, not Jesus. And the name IS important because IF you happen to be a believer of the Messiah, then you would want to call him by his name as you would want him to call you by yours.
Now I realize if you don’t believe in all this then it doesn’t apply to you, but if you do, then it should be important.
As far as the date, yes, fall is when Yeshua/Yahshua was born, the feast of tabernacles as the Bible explains.

The Councils of Rome/382-Hippo/393-Carthage397&419 finalized the canon of the bible.
In the fourth century there were hundreds of epistles and gospels, many had written there own interpretations and many were false so the Pope asked St. Jerome and his monks who were the best educated on the scriptures at the time and who spoke latin, herbrew and aramic to gather all the hundreds of scripture and determin which were the originals and divinely inspired – there results were codefied by the above councils. Not until the 16th. century was the bible tampered with when Luther tore out seven books of the Old Test and parts of Esther and 66 verses of Daniel – Luther then attempted to trash the Gospel of John, the Epistle of James (which he called an epistle of straw) and the Apocalyps (Revelations) but his followers told him to stop with the Old Test.
The Catholic Bible is the original bibles given by the early councils, the Gnostic Gospels were forgeries with personal interpretations and additions which were otherwise useless and phony’s. The King James bible today also eliminates the seven Old Test books and the parts of Daniel and Esther.
Note that we today accept the Codex of Biblical Books from the testimony of St. Jerome and the Catholic Church – even the King James bible, although missing seven books and parts of two others accepts the original Catholic Codex.
The most exact translation of the Latin/Hebrew bible in English is the Catholic Duey/Rhiems which translated the bible directly into the English language, all others are translated not exact but according to the translators (personal) thoughts of what was meant to be said according to his own thoughts. Even many Protestant ministers use the Catholic Duey/Rhiems because of its exact translation from the Latin/Hebrew to English.
In Scripture are mentioned by the Apostles by name, twenty-two other divinely inspired scripture books that have been lost since the time of Christ; in otherwords the bible is only a small portion of the teachings of Christ and the Apostles – as is said in Scripture [hold fast to those traditions you have received either by word or by mouth] and [not everything Christ said is in Scripture for the world could not hold the number of books that would be needed] – in otherwords the Apostles state that both Tradition and Scripture are both needed to complete the teachings of Christ which the Catholic Church holds both equally.
And one of the Apostles sees a man reading Scripture, approaches him and asks him, do you know what you are reading, to which he says, how can I lest someone teach me, and the Apostle says, and how can one teach the unless he be sent.
Now – Christ sent the Apostles, who in turn sent their successor up until today – you can trace every Catholic priest back to the Apostles. But who sent all these Protestant so calld ministers – no one – they sent themselves and have no linkage or authority given them by anyone but themselves.
As for Christmas – Christ was born exactly on Dec 25 – for a reason: That date and others were also dates in pagan rituals and faiths – the reason for Christ birth on that day and feasts and holydays on other pagan days – was to help in the conversion of the pagans and Jews to Christianity by supplanting their holy days into those of Christianity.
Outside of the One-Holy-Catholic-Apostolic-Roman Church there is no salvation.
As the Creed of Athansius teaches in the fourth Century – Unless one keeps the Catholic faith whole and entire he shall not enter the kingdom of heaven – or as St. Ignatius, disciple of St. Polycarp who was in turn the disciple of St. John the Apostle – where lies Christ there lies the Catholic Church – A.D. 106
The first traitor of the Church was Judas who was one of the first Apostles and Bishops, the wheat and the weeds grow together, there have always been traitors and sinners in the Church but in the end – during the harvest – then the wheat is separated from the weeds or shaf.
Finally: Althought the Church teaches that outside of it there is no salvation, that you must be a baptized Catholic to go to heaven – if you as a Catholic die in the state of mortal sin – being that you were baptized into and given the truth of salvation – you as a dying Catholic in mortal sin will suffer the most pain and suffering of anyone in hell for you had the truth and rejected it.
