Around 1 AM on jan 1, 2012, I feel like I was also a victim of police brutality/excessive force. The result of the incident I was arrested for resisting arrest (I was not resisting) and now my career is on the line and I have no idea what to do now. I have 4 witnesses that were with me during my arrest and I’ve already hired a lawyer to help get my charges dropped. Police brutality as well as excessive force should not be tolerated and I feel like cops are suppose to make the citizens feel safe. Now I think situations can be twisted and worded to make the suspect look like a “thug” when in reality the suspect was either misunderstood or did absolutely nothing wrong!!!
