Angry Cameraman Exposes the Media’s “Code of Silence” After Getting Physical
(Anthony Antonello) A cameraman from a local mainstream media outlet got very frustrated with Anthony Antonello. Not only did he put his hands on him and push the mic away, he also revealed that he would lose his job by talking with other media because of the contract his employer has signed with ABC. So, is there a “code of silence” or “code of conduct” that keeps reporters/journalists from investigating each other and holding other media organizations accountable? If this is the case, then everything seems to fall right into place. Why can no one or any group ever get any traction when it comes to watching “the watchers”? Keep in mind that Anthony is banned from WILK “news” talk radio for raising the same issues and his very last call consisted of calling out a reporter from another media outlet over the fact that he was willfully ignoring important and pertinent stories.
