The JFK Assassination: District Attorney Jim Garrison’s Case For A Conspiracy

(POPEYE) In this broadcast from July 15th 1967 New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison responds to an attack by NBC News on June 19th 1967 prior to his trial of local New Orleans businessman, and possible CIA agent or asset, Clay Shaw on charges of conspiring to murder President John F. Kennedy. NBC News tried to discredit Garrison and his office in the minds of the citizens. In a desperate attempt at tainting the jury pool and making Garrison and his case irrelevant. Shaw was eventually acquitted by the jury. Be that as it may, Garrison was able to use his air time wisely and laid out his entire case for there being a conspiracy to murder President John Kennedy for the public to hear. He remains the only law enforcement official to bring anyone to trial in regards to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. To quote Jim Garrison, “let justice be done, though the heavens fall.”

  • If you can, watch the movie JFK, it is great and it hit the nail. It has changed the minds of a lot of people I know

  • John Barbour is the ultimate expert on all things Jim Garrison. His research and work and films on the subject are where all these other people get their stuff. His new movie The American Media & The 2nd Assassination of President John F. Kennedy says it all. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XXDPV3 The other Barbor works, the Garrison tapes made before this movie, will educate many much more than the stylized movie JFK. I got to see the 2nd assassination movie before it was released, as John is a dear friend. I am 64, I was in tears during it. I knew then, in my young teen years, that the world had changed and was not what I thought it was. I was right.
