Texas school books are being rewritten and history is being changed

One Response to Texas school books are being rewritten and history is being changed

  • I just returned from a tour of the Alamo, Goliad, and San Jacinto battlegrouds, and I am amazed at how most of the media publications of this historic event is being changed, for instance:
    1. REMEMBER THE ALAMO, REMEMBER GOLIAD was the call to battle on the San Jacinto battlefiels.
    2. The battle of Goliad is being ignored in most publications.
    3. The Angle of Goliad, representing Mexican heroics, is overlooked.
    4. The battle was started when Santa Anna tore up the contract with the colony shortly after he became President of Mexico.
    5. When Austin went to negotiate with Santa Anna he was imprisoned for nearly two year’s.
    6. Austin reported to the colony that war with Mexico was manditory.
    7. I can mention many other things that are changed or overlooked, although you get the point.
I would like for someone to get it right and for the media to quit fooling the American People.
