Myron Rosner’s Bullying Continues
(Stephanie Kienzle) The saga of the signs in North Miami Beach continues. If you drive along NE 19th Avenue from Miami Gardens Drive to 163rd Street, you’ll see a proliferation of Myron Rosner campaign signs, one on almost every house! One is reminded of those old Burma-Shave signs lining the highways of practically every road in America. If you don’t remember those signs, you can read their history on Wikipedia’s website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burma-Shave). According to Wikipedia, “Burma-Shave sign series appeared from 1925 to 1963 in most of the contiguous United States… Typically, six consecutive small signs would be posted along the edge of highways, spaced for sequential reading by passing motorists. The last sign was almost always the name of the product.” Unfortunately, we are “treated” with Myron’s product placement on EVERY sign instead of one out of six.
