Gun Control – Past, Present, & Future

Gun Control – Get the Facts

Gun Control Works

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”  – George Santayana (Philosopher, Poet)

We must remember these wise words and actively look for the history that is not in mainstream books or school and university books. I used to be against having guns in the house. I was ignorant and raised that guns were bad and together with the media attack on second amendment rights, it was a disaster.

Once I actively sought out the REAL history that is not normally shown to us,  I have done a 180. So now I sit here imparting the same information that helped me open my eyes, trying to WAKE YOU UP!

Gun Control Currently In America

Most people do not believe that brutal totalitarianism seen in other countries cannot happen here in the U.S., I beg to differ. More gun laws are being passed every day starting with gun registration, which was the first step many other totalitarian rulers did in the past.

If you are not familiar with what totalitarianism is here is a brief description:

“Totalitarianism (or totalitarian rule) is a political system where state recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible.

Totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power by means of an official all-embracing ideology and propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, a single party that controls the state, personality cults, control over the economy, regulation and restriction of free discussion and criticism, the use of mass surveillance, and widespread use of state terrorism.” – Sound Familiar?? BTW the fake two-party system we have is like one since both are controlled.

  • After WWII we all say a Genocide “can’t happen again”. Well we just don’t know our history. Here’s the ones that have happened in the last century.
    Of course it can’t happen in America can it as we are a civilized nation. Now are we really? Just tell me a time we haven’t been warring on someone.

    First step to Genocide and Democide is take away the people’s arms so they can’t defend themselves.

  • I’m really, really getting sick and tired of the constant lies and deliberate disinformation that these ‘patriotard’ websites keep putting out about Gun Control
    and Germany during the pre-WW2 period. So, here are the facts:

    The following is an excerpt from the book of the same title, available from National Vanguard Books, PO Box 330, Hillsboro WV 24946 USA.
    Gun Control in Germany, 1928-1945
    by William L. Pierce
    A common belief among defenders of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is that the National Socialist government of Germany under Adolf Hitler did not permit the private ownership of firearms. Totalitarian governments, they have been taught in their high school civics classes, do not trust their citizens and do not dare permit them to keep firearms. Thus, one often hears the statement, “You know, the first thing the Nazis did when they came to power was outlaw firearms,” or, “The first thing Hitler did in Germany was round up all the guns.”
    One can understand why many American gun owners want to believe this. They see in the current effort of their own government to take away their right to keep and bear arms a limitation of an essential element of their freedom and a move toward tyranny, and they want to characterize the gun-grabbers in the most negative way they can. Adolf Hitler has been vilified continuously for the past 60 years or so by the mass media in America, and certainly no politician or officeholder wants to be compared with him. If the gun-confiscation effort can be portrayed convincingly as something of which Hitler would have approved, it will have been effectively tarred.
    This identification of the inclination to deny citizens the right to keep and bear arms with National Socialism and Adolf Hitler has been strengthened recently by clever magazine advertisements which show Hitler with his arm outstretched in a Roman salute under a heading: “All in favor of gun control raise your right hand.” A Jewish group, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO), quite noisy for its size, has been especially zealous in promoting the idea that the current gun-control effort in America has its roots in Germany during the Hitler period. This group has gone so far as to claim in several articles published in popular magazines read by firearms enthusiasts that the current restrictive legislation being proposed by the U.S. government is modeled on a gun-control statute enacted by Germany’s National Socialist government: the German Weapons Law (Waffengesetz) of March 18, 1938.
    Again, one can understand the motivation of the JPFO. Many non-Jewish firearms owners are well aware that the movement to restrict their rights is led and promoted primarily by Jews, and anti-Jewish feeling has been growing among them. They know that the controlled news media, which are almost unanimously in favor of abridging or abolishing the Second Amendment, are very much under the influence of Jews, and they know that the most vocal anti-gun legislators in the Congress also are Jews. It is natural for a group such as the JPFO to mount a damage- control effort and attempt to prevent anti-Jewish feeling from becoming even stronger among gun owners. Their strategy is to deflect the blame from their kinsmen in the media and the government and direct it onto their most hated enemies, the National Socialists — or at least to create enough smoke to obscure the facts and keep the gun-owning public confused.
    Unfortunately for those who would like to link Hitler and the National Socialists with gun control, the entire premise for such an effort is false. German firearms legislation under Hitler, far from banning private ownership, actually facilitated the keeping and bearing of arms by German citizens by eliminating or ameliorating restrictive laws which had been enacted by the government preceding his: a left-center government which had contained a number of Jews.
    It is not just that the National Socialist firearms legislation was the opposite of what it has been claimed to have been by persons who want to tar modern gun-grabbers with the “Nazi” brush: the whole spirit of Hitler’s government was starkly different from its portrayal by America’s mass media. The facts, in brief, are these:
    • The National Socialist government of Germany, unlike the government in Washington today, did not fear its citizens. Adolf Hitler was the most popular leader Germany has ever had. Unlike American presidents, he did not have to wear body armor and have shields of bulletproof glass in front of him whenever he spoke in public. At public celebrations he rode standing in an open car as it moved slowly through cheering crowds. Communists made several attempts to assassinate him, and his government stamped down hard on communism, virtually wiping it out in Germany. Between upright, law-abiding German citizens and Adolf Hitler, however, there was a real love affair, with mutual trust and respect.

    • The spirit of National Socialism was one of manliness, and individual self-defense and self- reliance were central to the National Socialist view of the way a citizen should behave. The notion of banning firearms ownership was utterly alien to National Socialism. In the German universities, where National Socialism gained its earliest footholds and which later became its strongest bastions, dueling was an accepted practice. Although the liberal-Jewish governments in Germany after the First World War attempted to ban dueling, it persisted illegally until it was again legalized by the National Socialists. Fencing, target shooting, and other martial arts were immensely popular in Germany, and the National Socialists encouraged young Germans to become proficient in these activities, believing that they were important for the development of a man’s character.

    • Gun registration and licensing (for long guns as well as for handguns) were legislated by an anti-National Socialist government in Germany in 1928, five years before the National Socialists gained power. Hitler became Chancellor on January 30, 1933. Five years later his government got around to rewriting the gun law enacted a decade earlier by his predecessors, substantially amel ior a ting it in the process (for example, long guns were exempted from the requirement for a purchase permit; the legal age for gun ownership was lowered from 20 to 18 years; the period of validity of a permit to carry weapons was extended from one to three years; and provisions restricting the amount of ammunition or the number of firearms an individual could own were dropped). Hitler’s government may be criticized for leaving certain restrictions and licensing requirements in the law, but the National Socialists had no intention of preventing law-abiding Germans from keeping or bearing arms. Again, the firearms law enacted by Hitler’s government enhanced the rights of Germans to keep and bear arms; no new restrictions were added, and many pre-existing restrictions were relaxed or eliminated.

    • At the end of the Second World War, American GIs in the occupying force were astounded to discover how many German civilians owned private firearms. Tens of thousands of pistols looted from German homes by GIs were brought back to the United States after the war. In 1945 General Eisenhower ordered all privately owned firearms in the American occupation zone of Germany confiscated, and Germans were required to hand in their shotguns and rifles as well as any handguns which had not already been stolen. In the Soviet occupation zone German civilians were summarily shot if they were found in possession of even a single cartridge.

    • Jews, it should be noted, were not Germans, even if they had been born in Germany. The National Socialists defined citizenship in ethnic terms, and under Hitler Jews were not accorded full rights of citizenship. National Socialist legislation progressively excluded Jews from key professions: teaching, the media, the practice of law, etc. The aim was not only to free German life from an oppressive and degenerative Jewish influence, but to persuade Jews to emigrate. The German Weapons Law of March 18, 1938, specifically excluded Jews from manufacturing or dealing in firearms or munitions, but it did not exclude them from owning or bearing personal firearms. The exclusion of Jews from the firearms business rankled them as much as any other exclusion, and in their typically ethnocentric fashion they have misrepresented the law involved as an anti-gun law in an effort to cast their enemies in a bad light.
    It should be noted in passing that the restrictions placed on Jews by the National Socialists had the intended effect: between 1933 and 1939 two-thirds of the Jews residing in Germany emigrated, reducing the Jewish population of the country from 600,000 when Hitler became Chancellor in 1933 to 200,000 at the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939. Jews in the United States, looking at this period from their own narrowly focused viewpoint, have described these peacetime years of the National Socialist government as a time of darkness, terror, and regression, whereas for the German people it was a time of hope, joy, and spiritual and material renewal.
    Much the same type of distortion is seen in the portrayal of the United States in the early 1950s: the so-called “McCarthy Era.” Senator Joseph McCarthy (Republican, Wisconsin) used his position as chairman of the Senate’s Government Operations Committee to expose the widespread communist infiltration of the U.S. government and other U.S. institutions which had taken place during the Second World War. A substantial majority of the communists who were dragged reluctantly out into the light of day by his efforts were Jews. As a result, the controlled media always have portrayed the period as one of terror and repression, when everyone was frightened of Senator McCarthy’s “witch-hunt.” Of course, it was nothing of the sort to non-Jewish Americans, who were not intimidated in the least. History viewed through a Jewish lens — i.e., through media controlled by Jews — always is distorted in a way corresponding to Jewish interests and concerns.
    Both the German Weapons Law of March 18, 1938, enacted by the National Socialists, and the Law on Firearms and Ammunition of April 12, 1928, which was enacted by an anti-National Socialist government, are given below in full, first in facsimile and then in English translation. A little background information first, however, may help the reader to understand their significance.
    After Germany’s defeat in the First World War (a defeat in which Germany’s Jews played no small part, demoralizing the home front with demonstrations and other subversive activity much as they did in America during the Vietnam war), the Kaiser abdicated, and liberals and leftists seized control of the government in 1918. Hitler, recovering in a military hospital from a British poison-gas attack which had blinded him temporarily, made the decision to go into politics and fight against the traitors he felt were responsible for Germany’s distress.
    The tendency of Germany’s new rulers after the First World War was much the same as it is for the liberals in America today: they promoted cosmopolitanism, internationalism, and egalitarianism. By 1923 economic conditions in Germany had become catastrophic, and there was much public unrest. The communists had made major inroads into the labor movement and were a growing threat to the country.
    Hitler had indeed gone into politics, and his National Socialists battled the communists in the streets of Germany’s cities and gradually came to be seen by many patriotic Germans in the working class and the middle class as the only force which could save Germany from a communist takeover and total ruin. Hitler’s National Socialists continued to win recruits and gain strength during the 1920s. The communists, with aid from the Soviet Union, also continued to grow. The political situation became increasingly unstable as the government lost popular support.
    The government’s response was to substantially tighten up restrictions on the rights of German citizens to keep and bear arms. The Law on Firearms and Ammunition of April 12, 1928, was the most substantial effort in this regard. This law was enacted by a left-center government hostile to the National Socialists (the government was headed by Chancellor Wilhelm Marx and consisted of a coalition of Socialists, including many Jews, and Catholic Centrists).
    Five years later, in 1933, the National Socialists were in power, Hitler headed the government, and the communist threat was crushed decisively. The National Socialists began undoing the social and economic damage done by their predecessors. Germany was restored to full employment, degeneracy and corruption were rooted out, Jews and their collaborators were removed from one facet of national life after another, and the German people entered a new era of national freedom, health, and prosperity.
    Finally, in 1938, the National Socialist government got around to enacting a new firearms law to replace the one enacted by their opponents ten years earlier. The highlights of the 1938 law, especially as it applied to ordinary citizens rather than manufacturers or dealers, follow:
    • Handguns may be purchased only on submission of a Weapons Acquisition Permit (Waffenerwerbschein), which must be used within one year from the date of issue. Muzzle- loading handguns are exempted from the permit requirement. [The 1928 law had required a permit for the purchase of long guns as well, but the National Socialists dropped this requirement.]

    • Holders of a permit to carry weapons (Waffenschein) or of a hunting license do not need a Weapons Acquisition Permit in order to acquire a handgun.

    • A hunting license authorizes its bearer to carry hunting weapons and handguns.

    • Firearms and ammunition, as well as swords and knives, may not be sold to minors under the age of 18 years. [The age limit had been 20 years in the 1928 law.]

    • Whoever carries a firearm outside of his dwelling, his place of employment, his place of business, or his fenced property must have on his person a Weapons Permit (Waffenschein). A permit is not required, however, for carrying a firearm for use at a police-approved shooting range.

    • A permit to acquire a handgun or to carry firearms may only be issued to persons whose trustworthiness is not in question and who can show a need for a permit. In particular, a permit may not be issued to:
    1. persons under the age of 18 years;
    2. legally incompetent or mentally retarded persons;
    3. Gypsies or vagabonds;
    4. persons under mandatory police supervision [i.e., on parole] or otherwise temporarily without civil rights;
    5. persons convicted of treason or high treason or known to be engaged in activities hostile to the state;
    6. persons who for assault, trespass, a breach of the peace, resistance to authority, a criminal offense or misdemeanor, or a hunting or fishing violation were legally sentenced to a term of imprisonment of more than two weeks, if three years have not passed since the term of imprisonment.

    • The manufacture, sale, carrying, possession, and import of the following are prohibited:
    1. “trick” firearms, designed so as to conceal their function (e.g., cane guns and belt-buckle pistols);
    2. any firearm equipped with a silencer and any rifle equipped with a spotlight;
    3. cartridges with .22 caliber, hollow-point bullets.
    That is the essence. Numerous other provisions of the law relate to firearms manufacturers, importers, and dealers; to acquisition and carrying of firearms by police, military, and other official personnel; to the maximum fees which can be charged for permits (3 Reichsmark); to tourists bringing firearms into Germany; and to the fines and other penalties to be levied for violations.
    The requirements of “trustworthiness” and of proof of need when obtaining a permit are troubling, but it should be noted that they were simply carried over from the 1928 law: they were not formulated by the National Socialists. Under the National Socialists these requirements were interpreted liberally: a person who did not fall into one of the prohibited categories listed above was considered trustworthy, and a statement such as, “I often carry sums of money,” was accepted as proof of need.
    The prohibitions of spotlight-equipped rifles and hollow-point .22 caliber ammunition were based on considerations that the former were unsporting when used for hunting, and the latter were inhumane.
    Now read the German firearms laws for yourself, either in the original German exactly as they were published by the German government in the Reichsgesetzblatt or in the complete English translations which are provided here. If you want to skip over most of the legal gobbledygook and go directly to the most pertinent part of the National Socialist Firearms Law — the part pertaining to the purchase, ownership, and carrying of firearms by private citizens — turn to page 35 (Part IV of the Law). Note, as already mentioned above, that two separate and distinct types of permits are referred to: a Weapons Acquisition Permit (Waffenerwerbschein), required only for purchasing a handgun; and a Weapons Permit (Waffenschein), required for carrying any firearm in public. Interestingly enough, as also mentioned above, a hunting license could take the place of both these permits.
    When you have read the two laws reproduced here, you will understand that it was Hitler’s enemies, not Hitler, who should be compared with the gun-control advocates in America today. Then as now it was the Jews, not the National Socialists, who wanted the people’s right of self- defense restricted. You will understand that those who continue to make the claim that Hitler was a gun-grabber are either ignorant or dishonest. And you will understand that it was not until 1945, when the communist and democratic victors of the Second World War had installed occupation governments to rule over the conquered Germans that German citizens were finally and completely denied the right to armed self-defense.

  • Here’s the difference between those that abhor guns in the hands of others and those that do not:those that are inclined to control others thru the state when given the opportunity(statists,tyrants,many democrats)see guns as tools of OFFENSE.
    Those that wish to be free of state coercion and have no tendencies towards controlling others see guns as tools of DEFENSE.
    That is the essential difference between the groups and those that can’t stand guns in the hands of others are showing their deep seated nature of not being in control of others.
    As for me and millions of others,I do not care a hoot what laws are passed by any court,dictator,state,individual,entity or organization-I shall never willingly disarm with the most effective tools of DEFENSE that man has.

  • Hey ‘Luke,’

    Why don’t you try posting an excerpt that ISN’T from a white supremacist website? National Vanguard books is a front for a white power organization.

    If someone posts something from the ADL would you say that it’s dubious due to it being from a “fascistic Jewish supremecist website”?
    Just because an excerpt is from a website that is maligned by the left doesn’t mean that it’s false,nor does an excerpt from the mainsream mean that it’s believable.
    I’ll consider any info from ant source that passes the test of logic,examination and provability and so should more Americans.

  • I find what Luke posted enlightening. I think everything we have been told from “official” sources should be re-examined. Especially the “official” story about what happened on 9/11, which has been the excuse to form lanti-american and anti-freedom/liberty laws, wars, and many more abominations heading us away from a republic, through democracy and into fascism with an overtone of socialism. It is true, totalitarianism cannot function well if the intended victims are armed and able and willing to resist, with force if necessary. I do not hold racism in high regard, but truth is truth and it can be verified or shot down, the ability to do so rests on all of us. Remember, most of the world believed the world was flat, because they just took the words from “official” sources, and didnt verify anything.

  • Good post, Luke. Very true. They sneak in their lies over and over until people accept it as truth.

  • Regardless of the popular beleif that Adolf Hitler was an evil, oppressive, monster, the German population was at the time frenzying like sharks. They had their scapegoat for all of their woes and through might they decided to crawl their way out of the economic hole taht they found themselves in. Hitler was elected, though possibly through deception or coersion, but he was elected. The people backed him or he would not have lasted for as long as he did.

    It is very important that we, in this country, do not allow ourselves to be come frenzied animals who will trade our moral obligations, at the drop of a hat, for the promise of the pie in the sky.

    My guns are the guardians of my convictions. No sir, I will not bend! I will not betray my countrymen! I will defend the constitution of this United States with my life! To live under the thumb of tyrrants is no life at all.

  • the U.S. zionist government desperately wants to get the guns out of the hands of We The People, because they know a revolution is coming, one that they cannot win, and will not win.

    their only hope is to disarm us.

    that is not going to happen.

    and here’s why:

    It states that because of “growing popular unrest in the United States, caused by the prolonged war in Iraq .coupled with obvious Congressional inaction,” the U.S. military has drawn up plans for combating domestic U.S. civil insurrections. This is not a theoretical study but a very specific one. Units to be used domestically are listed in detail as are detention centers, etc.

    As a result of this, plans are now in train to segregate, retrain and reequip certain anti-insurgent U.S. military units now serving in Iraq and to prepare them for quick transfer back to the United States for use “as needed” The Pentagon command believes that such civil insurrections are not only a possibility but a very real probability in the event that the President and his advisors maintain their present course vis a vis the Iraqi war.

    It is interesting to note that “foreign intelligence representatives, now active in the United States” (read Mossad) are to be subject to “arrest, confinement and eventual deportation to their country of origin.”

    The report and several attached ones, run to almost 900 pages and cannot be put up in their current form. However, I will list some of the more important data here:

    Classification: Top Secret-Noforn as of 1 June 2007

    Distribution Restriction: Distribution authorized to the DOD and DOD contractors only to maintain operations security. This determination was made on 1 June 2007. Other requests for this document must be referred to (redacted)

    Destruction Notice: Destroy by any method that will prevent disclosure of contents or reconstruction of the document. .

    This publication uses the term insurgent to describe those taking part in any activity designed to undermine or to overthrow the established authorities

    Counterinsurgency is those military, paramilitary, political, economic, psychological, and civicactions taken by a government to defeat insurgency (JP 1-02). It is an offensive approach involving all elements of national power; it can take place across the range of operations and spectrum of conflict

    In dealing with the local populace, the primary aims must be to:

    ·Protect the population.

    ·Establish local political institutions.

    ·Reinforce local governments.

    ·Eliminate insurgent capabilities.

    ·Exploit information from local sources.

    An insurgency is organized movement aimed at the overthrow of a constituted government through use of subversion and armed conflict (JP 1-02). It is a protracted politico-military struggle designed to weaken government control and legitimacy while increasing insurgent control. Political power is the central issue in an insurgency.

    An insurgent organization normally consists of four elements:

    Combatants (main forces, regional forces, local forces).

    Cadre (local political leaders that are also called the militants).

    Mass base (the bulk of the membership).

    A perceived serious potential of dissident American groups rising up against constituted authority has been clearly identified by counter-intelligence agencies.. The stated cause for such an uprising appear to be growing dissatisfaction with the course and conduct of the war in Iraq, the chronic inability of Congress to deal with various pressing issues and the perception of widespread corruption and indifference to public needs.

    The support of the people, passive or active then, is the center of gravity. It must be gained in whatever proportion is necessary to sustain the insurgent movement (or, contrariwise, to defeat it). As in any political campaign, all levels of support are relative.

    Insurgent movements begin as “fire in the minds of men.” Insurgent leaders commit themselves to building a new world. They construct the organization to carry through this desire. Generally, popular grievances become insurgent causes when interpreted and shaped by the insurgent leadership. The insurgency grows if the cadre that is local insurgent leaders and representatives can establish a link between the insurgent movement and the desire for solutions to grievances sought by the local population

    Insurgent leaders will exploit opportunities created by government security force actions. The behavior of security forces is critical. Lack of security force discipline leads to alienation, and security force abuse of the populace is a very effective insurgent recruiting tool. Consequently, specific insurgent tactical actions are often planned to frequently elicit overreaction from security force individuals and units.

    Insurgencies are dynamic political movements, resulting from real or perceived grievance or neglect that leads to alienation from an established government.

    A successful counterinsurgency will result in the neutralization by the state of the insurgency and its effort to form a counterstate. While many abortive insurgencies are defeated by military and police actions alone, if an insurgency has tapped into serious grievances and has mobilized a significant portion of the population, simply returning to the status quo may not be an option. Reform may be necessary, but reform is a matter for the state, using all of its human and material resources. Security forces are only one such resource. The response must be multifaceted and coordinated, yet states typically charge their security forces with “waging counterinsurgency.” This the security forces cannot do alone.

    These imperatives are-

    · Facilitate establishment or reestablishment of a ‘legitimate government’.

    · Counterinsurgency requires perseverance.

    · Foster popular support for the incumbent US government.

    · Prepare to perform functions and conduct operations that are outside normal scope of training.

    · Coordinate with US governmental departments and agencies, and with vital non-governmental, agencies.

    Urban operations.

    · Protection of government facilities.

    · Protection of infrastructure.

    · Protection of commercial enterprises vital to the HN economy.

    · Protection of cultural facilities.

    · Prevention of looting.

    · Military police functions.

    · Close interaction with civilians.

    · Assistance with reconstruction projects.

    · Securing the national borders.

    · Training or retraining a national military police and security force.

    Establishing and maintaining local government credibility.

    · Contributing local government is both tangible and psychological. Local security forces must reinforce and be integrated into the plan at every stage.

    · Facilitate and use information and intelligence obtained from local sources to gain access to the insurgent’s economic and social base of support, order of battle, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

    Army forces help local pro-government police, paramilitary, and military forces perform counterinsurgency, area security, or local security operations. They advise and assist in finding, dispersing, capturing, and destroying the insurgent force.

    US forces may conduct offensive operations to disrupt and destroy insurgent combat formations. These operations prevent the insurgents from attacking government-controlled areas.

    There are many organizations and extensive resources available to aid counterinsurgent forces.

    Commanders should not overlook the aid these organizations may provide. All forces assigned an AO or function should determine which departments and agencies are assisting in that AO and coordinate actions so that there is no duplication of effort. Such departments,

    councils and agencies include-

    · National Security Council.

    · Department of Defense.

    · Department of State.

    · Department of Justice.

    · Department of the Treasury.

    · Department of Homeland Security.

    · Department of Agriculture.

    · Department of Commerce.

    · Central Intelligence Agency.

    · Department of Transportation

    Various governmental departments directly administer or support other governmental agencies. Examples of these US agencies are-

    · The US Coast Guard (under Department of Homeland Security).

    · The Federal Bureau of Investigation (under Department of Justice).

    · Immigration Customs Enforcement (under Department of Homeland Security).

    · Federal Communications Commission

    . The proper application of force is a critical component to any successful counterinsurgency operation. In a counterinsurgency, the center of gravity is public support. In order to defeat an insurgent force, US forces must be able to separate insurgents from the population. At the same time, US forces must conduct themselves in a manner that enables them to maintain popular domestic support. Excessive or indiscriminant use of force is likely to alienate the local populace, thereby increasing support for insurgent forces. Insufficient use of force results in increased risks to US forces and perceived weaknesses that can jeopardize the mission by emboldening insurgents and undermining domestic popular support. Achieving the appropriate balance requires a thorough understanding of the nature and causes of the insurgency, the end state, and the military’s role in a counterinsurgency operation. Nevertheless, US forces always retain the right to use necessary and proportional force for individual and unit self-defense in response to a hostile act or demonstrated hostile intent.

    The media, print and broadcast (radio, television and the Internet), play a vital role in societies involved in a counterinsurgency. Members of the media have a significant influence and shaping impact on political direction, national security objectives, and policy and national will. The media is a factor in military operations. It is their right and obligation to report to their respective audiences on the use of military force. They demand logistic support and access to military operations while refusing to be controlled. Their desire for immediate footage and on-the-spot coverage of events, and the increasing contact with units and Soldiers (for example, with embedded reporters) require commanders and public affairs officers to provide guidance to leaders and Soldiers on media relations. However, military planners must provide and enforce ground rules to the media to ensure operations security. Public affairs offices plan for daily briefings and a special briefing after each significant event because the media affect and influence each potential target audience external and internal to the AO. Speaking with the media in a forward-deployed area is an opportunity to explain what our organizations and efforts have accomplished.

    Continuous PSYOP are mounted to-

    · Counter the effects of insurgent propaganda.

    · Relate controls to the security and well-being of the population.

    · Portray a favorable governmental image.

    .Control measures must-

    · Be authorized by national laws and regulations (counterparts should be trained not to improvise unauthorized measures).

    · Be tailored to fit the situation (apply the minimum force required to achieve the de-sired result).

    · Be supported by effective local intelligence.

    · Be instituted in as wide an area as possible to prevent bypass or evasion.

    · Be supported by good communications.

    · Be enforceable.

    · Be lifted as the need diminishes.

    · Be compatible, where possible, with local customs and traditions.

    · Establish and maintain credibility of local government.

    A control program may be developed in five phases:

    · Securing and defending the area internally and externally.

    · Organizing for law enforcement.

    · Executing cordon and search operations.

    · Screening and documenting the population (performing a detailed census).

    · Performing public administration, to include resource control.

    Support to the judiciary may be limited to providing security to the existing courts or may lead to more comprehensive actions to build local, regional, and national courts and the required support apparatus. To avoid overcrowding in police jails, the courts must have an efficient and timely magistrate capability, ideally co-located with police stations and police jails, to review cases for trial.

    Cordon and search is a technique used by military and police forces in both urban and rural environments. It is frequently used by counterinsurgency forces conducting a population and resource control mission against small centers of population or subdivisions of a larger community. To be effective, cordon and search operations must have sufficient forces to effectively cordon off and thoroughly search target areas, to include subsurface areas.

    PSYOP, civil affairs, and specialist interrogation teams should augment cordon and search orces to increase the effectiveness of operations. Consider the following when conducting cordon and search operations:

    Cordon and search operations may be conducted as follows:

    Disposition of troops should-

    · Facilitate visual contact between posts within the cordon.

    · Provide for adequate patrolling and immediate deployment of an effective re-serve force.

    Priority should be given to-

    · Sealing the administrative center of the community.

    · Occupying all critical facilities.

    · Detaining personnel in place.

    · Preserving and securing all records, files, and other archives.

    Key facilities include-

    · Administrative buildings.

    · Police stations.

    · News media facilities.

    · Post offices.

    · Communications centers.

    · Transportation offices and motor pools.

    · Prisons and other places of detention.

    · Schools.

    · Medical facilities.

    Search Techniques include-

    · Search teams of squad size organized in assault, support, and security elements.

    One target is assigned per team.

    · Room searches are conducted by two-person teams.

    · Room search teams are armed with pistols, assault weapons, and automatic weapons.

    · Providing security for search teams screening operations and facilities.

    Pre-search coordination includes-

    · Between control personnel and screening team leaders.

    · Study of layout plans.

    · Communications, that is, radio, whistle, and hand signals.

    · Disposition of suspects.

    · On-site security.

    · Guard entrances, exits (to include the roof), halls, corridors, and tunnels.

    · Assign contingency tasks for reserve.

    · Room searches conducted by two- or three-person teams.

    · Immobilize occupants with one team member.

    · Search room with other team member.

    · Search all occupants. When available, a third team member should be the re-corder.

    · Place documents in a numbered envelope and tag the associated individual with a corresponding number.

    Screening and documentation include following:

    · Systematic identification and registration.

    · Issuance of individual identification cards containing-

    A unique number.

    Picture of individual.

    Personal identification data.

    An official stamp (use different colors for each administration region).

    Family group census cards, an official copy of which is retained at the local po-lice agency. These must include a picture and appropriate personal data.

    Frequent use of mobile and fixed checkpoints for inspection, identification, and reg-istration of documents.

    Preventing counterfeiting of identification and registration documents by laminat-ing and embossing.

    Programs to inform the population of the need for identification and registration.

    Covert surveillance is a collection effort with the responsibility fixed at the intelligence/security division or detective division of the police department. Covert techniques, ranging from application of sophisticated electronics systems to informants, should include-

    Informant nets. Reliability of informants should be verified. Protection of identity is a must.

    Block control. Dividing a community or populated area into zones where a trusted resident reports on the activities of the population. If the loyalty of block leaders is questionable, an informant net can be established to verify questionable areas.

  • I agree with the last post. The point here is not about Hittler it’s about the elite disarming the population in order to get away with their plans. The constitution is very clear on this. Weapons even though violent are a necesity to defend and deter the constant attacks of those who want to control the world. A JUST government needs not fear it’s citizen’s from retaliation. It is illogical to try to control guns since violence is born in the mind and heart of an individual and not on what he has on his hand. A gun can be as deadly as a glass of water.

  • Well Luke all the stipulations you showed just about sums it up
    Hitler was out to grab guns period.
    I’ve heard before what permindex said,however I don’t recall seeing all the
    stuff you put.

    • A permit to acquire a handgun or to carry firearms may only be issued to persons whose trustworthiness is not in question and who can show a need for a permit. In particular, a permit may not be issued to:
    1. persons under the age of 18 years;
    2. legally incompetent or mentally retarded persons;
    3. Gypsies or vagabonds;
    4. persons under mandatory police supervision [i.e., on parole] or otherwise temporarily without civil rights;
    5. persons convicted of treason or high treason or known to be engaged in activities hostile to the state;
    6. persons who for assault, trespass, a breach of the peace, resistance to authority, a criminal offense or misdemeanor, or a hunting or fishing violation were legally sentenced to a term of imprisonment of more than two weeks, if three years have not passed since the term of imprisonment.

    lots of good reasons here.lolololololololol
