Cops Called on Homeless Jesus Statue Because “He Could Have Been a Threat to the Neighborhood”

HOMELESS JESUS OUTSIDE CHURCH

(FEDERALJACK)    A woman driving home one night saw what she thought was a homeless man sleeping on a bench outside of a church. Apparently the thought of a fellow human being in a time of need in her neighborhood scared her so much she called the police on him. The homeless man turned out to be a statue called Homeless Jesus. The church was surprised someone would call the police, but this type of attitude towards the homeless is no surprise.

After finding out she was wrong the woman still could not admit to it, so she then proceeded to say that the statue is “inappropriate,” and that Jesus was not homeless. I’m no biblical scholar, and I don’t go to church, but last time I checked Jesus hung out with, and took care of  what the people of the day would have considered the lowest class of human beings. Hookers, the homeless, the sick, indigent, and people shunned by society. I’m pretty sure the only inappropriate thing here is the woman’s response to seeing what she perceived to be a fellow human being in need.

  • Matthew 8:20

And Jesus said unto him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man hath nowhere to lay His head.”

  • I hope the woman who did this reads this article and hopefully our comments because when I first read it I was laughing…at her.

  • cunt

  • Thank God there is a Hell to burn forevermore these Antichristian blaspheming bastards!

  • What an idiot. And on a side note, you should never call the police anyway, it only escalates the situation and the caller or one of their family is at increased of getting killed by the cops as many news reports from america now show.

  • After beating and tasering the Homeless Statue, the police called it a night and went back to their Donut/s and coffee shop………

  • The irony is, woman who called the police on the “homeless Jesus ” statue probably is close to being homeless herself with the wsy things are heading, unless of course she is very wealthy.

  • For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food,
and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. — James 2:13-17

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” — Matthew 5:7

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’
Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’
Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
    — Matthew 25:41-46
