  • Actually, the officer is likely within his legal authority to seize anything that can be used as evidence at a later date including video evidence. Of course, “losing” the evidence or destroying the video is obstruction which is a felony…if you can prove it. Just goes show you that if you are going to film the cops, make sure you have backup to show your interaction with law enforcement. That keeps everyone “honest.”

  • That Cop had no legal right to just come on the guy’s property and into his house, he just trespassed and assaulted the guy.
