Charlotte Iserbyt: The Secret History of Western Education & Scientific Destruction of Minds

Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt served as the head of policy at the Department of Education during the first administration of Ronald Reagan. While working there she discovered a long term strategic plan by the tax exempt foundations to transform America from a nation of rugged individualists and problem solvers to a country of servile, brainwashed minions who simply regurgitate whatever they’re told.

Iserbyt breaks down how conditioning/training under a corporate agenda has replaced traditional education, leading to a deliberate dumbing down of Americans. Iserbyt further explains how Reagan signed agreements merging the U.S. and Soviet systems under the United Nations banner, turning over education and many other areas of public policy to global control.

  • I just watched these videos. Question time;

    1.) War was described as the best way to “change” people/society by the Carnegie Foundation. Have you noticed that this war on Terror does not change our family structure like WW2 did, instead it seems the real goal is to take our freedom away and condition us (TSA screening) to accept a more intrusive government (Patriot Act)? Then is it likely that we will have War in perpetuity until a one world government is established? (Like what DICK Cheney said)

    2.) Computers are used as a tool for operon-based learning techniques, much like Pavlov and his dog experiments. When I was in grade school we had the Apple 2c computer and we played “Lemonade Stand” and “Oregon Trail.” They taught us math and planning skills. I was among the pilot generation for computer learning. What specifically are computers teaching our kids today, and why should parents be concerned?

    3.) At one point there is talk of children siding with the government, not being able to think critically and perhaps even turning against their own parents. The Cultural Revolution in China was seen as an almost complete failure, perhaps even setting the entire country back a generation. Why would a Socialist agenda want to mimic that atrosity? Also, even though there are dumbed down kids today, there are still intellectualy superior minds out there, kids with 120+ IQ’s who can filter through the nonsense and are indeed natural logical and critical thinkers. What does your research say will happen to those kids? Will their parents sit idle as they watch their bright kids not being challenged? Won’t the bright kids stand up and revolt like Jefferson, Madison et al.? Won’t the bright kids (who in a couple of generations will be much more intelligent than their teachers) become natural leaders for the other kids in class?

    4.) The secret of the Soviet/US merger seems unlikely. For one, we spent a lot of money indirectly fighting the USSR, and the spread of Communism in places like Vietnam. If in the 60’s they were talking about merging with USSR (right after the Red Scare of the 50’s and McCarthyism) who in their right mind would even say something this damning even off the record? Also, The 90’s saw the fall of the USSR and a new plutocracy/oligarchy took its place. In fact, many American elites plundered a lot of wealth out from CIS during that time. How is that a conspiracy? Or are Economical philosophies to remain independent?

    5.) What good is an education when there are no jobs? Shouldn’t the Skull and Bones people worry about what is going to happen when too many over-educated people get angry that they can’t find any work even at a McDonalds?

    6.)Can’t we still learn moral values from our parents/books/g-rated television? How is the govt. going to completely deligitimatize the Christian religion, and other religions that teach good moral values?

    In regards to question 4. There has never been a communistic country, as there has never been a Democratic society either.

    The Cold War and Communistic threat were both manufactured by the PTB, no different then the fake War on Drugs and Terrorism.

    Bella Dodd was a leader of the Communist Party of America (CPUSA) in the 1930′ s and 1940’s. Her book, “School of Darkness” (1954) reveals that Communism was a hoax perpetrated by financiers “to control the common man” and to advance world tyranny.     A new book (The Secret World of American Communism, based on newly opened Kremlin archives, confirms that CPUSA was a puppet of Moscow and the Roosevelt and Truman administrations were practically run by Soviet agents, Alger Hiss, Harry Hopkins and Harry Dexter White to name a few.

    The joint US-Russian war effort was to be the basis of the new world order. But, inexplicably, the policy changed and Browder instantly became a non-person. Apparently the financial elite had decided the time wasn’t right for world government. A cold war would be much more lucrative. Dodd was told that in the future, the party would often find itself opposed not only to the government, but also to U.S. workers.

    Bottom line, Cuba is a totalitarian regime, not communistic….and the US is not a Democracy/Republic, we are an oligarchy/plutocracy.

    Yes they are worried, that too many people wake up and realize we’re being controlled by criminal banksters. Too many people too soon waking up will end up with their elite asses being strung up to the nearest tree, so they have to be careful and make sure the masses are still medicated when our complete total enslavement goes down. What good is an education, when the people can’t even figure out what happened on 911? When they spend most of their time working, to only be fed the complicit mainstream media garbage, with the intent of keeping everyone in the dark?

    There is a perfect example of people taking back the reigns of power from a government that does not respond to the citizens. That is the people of Iceland. They experienced so much economic turmoil at the hands of the robber baron bankers, the politicians against the will of the people tried to obligate the people to a debt they did not owe or consent to bailing out. The people of Iceland fired the government, arrested the bankers or chased them out. The reestablished a new economic system that is making the country is prospering like never before. The government of Iceland sided with the bankers over the people’s wishes and demands. The people acted and did not wait for the politicians to act.

  • Great answer, Tom, to Joe Todd’s quests. My answers would be identical. Great to see eloquent and informed citizens responding as such. And Joe, your points while thoughtful, reflect your sheepdom and the obstacles that those of us who are informed are up against. I’ll bet you thought you knew something. Well, guess what? You are the ideal example of 100 years of programming. Time to awaken. Now.

  • Keep in mind, the “Russian Revolution” was financed with gold out of New York. There was no revolution of the masses. Not totally unlike what we see in Libya today. Same financiers at the helm.

  • A truly great book on exactly this topic:

    John Taylor Gatto, “The Underground History of American Education.”

    This book is the author’s hugely readable writeup of his own deep and career-long (almost 30 years) investigation into what has really been going on in American schools.

    Gatto had a whole long career as a Manhattan school teacher, and the school administration tried to get rid of him, and he wouldn’t let them! For example, he once came back from a 2-week vacation to have the school personnel office inform him that he no longer worked there! (and, that his personel file no longer existed!)

    Here is the author’s own one-sentence “book blurb” — quoted from his website: “At Last — An award–Wwnning teacher pulls back the curtain to reveal the actual ‘Fourth Purpose’ for which Mass Forced Schooling was conceived.”

    That’s a very accurate capsule description of the book. But it gives no idea of what a high-quality book this is, in terms of content, profundity, and fun reading — and especially in terms of its USEFULNESS to people who are learning what is actually going on in the world.

    Dodd was in charge of the Reese Committee that investigated tax exempt foundations. Dodd says the following on camera, referring to a meeting with the president of the Ford Foundation, Rowan Gaither:

    Upon arrival, after a few amenities, Mr. Gaither said, “Mr. Dodd, we have asked you to come up here today, because we thought that, possibly, off the record, you would tell us why the Congress is interested in the activities of foundations such as ourselves.”

    And, before I could think of how I would reply to that statement, Mr. Gaither then went on, and voluntarily stated, “Mr. Dodd, all of us who have a hand in the making of policies here, have had experience either with the OSS during the war, or with European economic administration after the war. We have had experience operating under directives. The directives emanate, and did emanate, from the White House. Now, we still operate under just such directives. Would you like to know what the substance of these directives is?”

    I said, “Yes, Mr. Gaither, I would like very much to know.” Whereupon, he made this statement to me, “Mr. Dodd, we are here to operate in response to similar directives, the substance of which is that **we shall use our grant-making power so to alter life in the United States, that it can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.**”
