  • Good Grief!! I was clear to me back in the 80s that the lyrics were mimicking anti-homosexual person and it ought to be clear to anyone now. What was going through the mind of the single person who made the complaint?? I can only conclude that s/he does not know how to listen/read critically. Likely his/her education was as dumbed down as this Canadian government agency is aiming to make all communication – art included – between human beings living there.

    Are they going to require that radio stations bleep out the word “faggot”, insert a replacement word or simply blank that portion?? What a disgusting situation. (And I am disgusted because this is one of my favorite rock songs of that era.)

    I’d really like to see some Canadians sing out in protest of this one – maybe one way is by playing the unadulterated version of this great song in public. Come on Canucks, what are you made of?!
